The Revolution Club Chicago Invites You to an Anti-July 4 Picnic

Sunday
July 4th 2pm
63rd St Beach

6300 S. Lake Shore Dr.
(E. Hayes Dr @ Lake Michigan)

LOOK FOR THE RED FLAGS

In case of bad weather - All are invited to an Open House at the Revolution Center, 1857 E. 71st St.
If you can conceive of a world without America—without everything America stands for and everything it does in the world—then you’ve already taken great strides and begun to get at least a glimpse of a whole new world. If you can envision a world without any imperialism, exploitation, oppression—and the whole philosophy that rationalizes it—a world without division into classes or even different nations, and all the narrow-minded, selfish, outmoded ideas that uphold this; if you can envision all this, then you have the basis for proletarian internationalism. And once you have raised your sights to all this, how could you not feel compelled to take an active part in the world historic struggle to realize it; why would you want to lower your sights to anything less?

JUNE 27:

Chicago Mass Meetings on the
“Declaration and Call”—Getting Organized Now for a Real Revolution

June 27 , 3:30pm 1857 E 71st (Revolution Club Organizing Center) Chicago IL
For more information: call 312-804-9121 DM @revclubchi email revclubchi@gmail.com click for other mass meetings

The call for the mass meetings begins with the opening of the “Declaration and Call”:

Let’s get down to basics: We need a revolution—nothing less!

To everyone who can’t stand this world the way it is ... who is sick and tired of so many people being treated as less than human ... who knows that the claim of “liberty and justice for all” is a cruel lie ... who is righteously enraged that injustice and inequality go on, and on, and on, despite false promises and honeyed words from people in power (or those seeking power) ... everyone who agonizes about where things are headed and the fact that to be young now means being denied a decent future, or any future at all ... everyone who has ever dreamed about something much better, or even wondered whether that is possible ... everyone who hungers for a world without oppression, exploitation, poverty, and destruction of the environment ... everyone who has the heart to fight for something that is really worth fighting for:  You need to be part of this revolution.

Declaration and Call

There will be mass meetings next weekend—in Los Angeles on Saturday June 26, and in New York City and Chicago on Sunday June 27—to get into the “Declaration and Call” and get deeper into “why an actual revolution is necessary, what such a revolution involves, and what kind of society this is aiming for.” Meet other people like yourself, get into the Declaration and Call, and go back and forth with the revcoms on this.

From the RNL Crew:

This week, our new episode will air on Friday instead of the usual Thursday—and it will be a really important and excellent episode. We'll report on the march that took place on June 12 in Los Angeles, with important support marches in New York City as well as Chicago, to “Show the World: We Are Getting Organized Now for Revolution, Nothing Less!” These marches were a major effort by the revcoms to apply the orientation and carry out the strategy put forward in A Declaration, A Call to Get Organized NOW for a Real Revolution.

The truth is: we've never had so much footage of so many powerful revolutionary speeches, chants, disciplined marching, interviews and bystander reactions to sift through. This is without question the biggest editing job we've ever undertaken. We intend to bring you something really good, so it is going to take an extra day.

Fortunately, we designed last week's episode – Episode 56 – to be a good introduction to everyone who just got involved in or met the revolution through the June 12 marches, as well as deep grounding and guidance for all returning viewers. So we encourage you to use today to rewatch that episode.

Then, be sure to come back to youtube.com/therevcoms on Friday, June 18, at 5 pm Pacific/8 pm Eastern, for the new episode.

The Cold Truth Behind Kamala Harris’s Gangster Tour in Guatemala

This past week U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris—as part of Biden’s supposedly "enlightened" policy on immigrants—went to Guatemala to deliver a message. A basic message of raw power, with no small measure of disgust and loathing!

Speaking to prospective immigrants from the region, Harris said, “Do not come.”...

There Is an Emerging Force Organizing NOW for a Real Revolution
From a member of the National Revolution Tour

June 14, 2021 | revcom.us

On June 12, scores of people marched in each of three cities—Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago—to “Show the World: We Are Getting Organized Now for REVOLUTION, NOTHING LESS!” The June 12th marches nationwide were conceived, planned and organized as part of—and in the context of—making good on the call from the Revcoms in A Declaration, a Call to Get Organized Now for a Real Revolution.

In Los Angeles, the march went through an area of South Central, mainly Black and Latino in demographics, to the LA Sheriff’s Station—home to armed, uniformed gangs of murderous enforcers for this system that inflict daily terror and brutality on the people. In New York City, they marched through the heart of Harlem to a local police precinct. There was also a march in South Side Chicago that went to the Englewood Chicago Police Department station.

The marches were led by Revolution Club members stepping and marching in formation—serious, determined, disciplined, with revolutionary élan and a conquering spirit... also, along with many others, expressing the joy and pride of being part of something that is pointing an emancipatory way out of the horrors humanity is caught in under the current system. The marches included some people very new to the revolution, who put on “Revolution—Nothing Less!” or “This System Has No Future for the Youth but the Revolution Does” T-shirts right on the spot. In LA, NYC and Chicago, people from different perspectives—some coming from other important struggles—came out in solidarity or made statements. (read the whole article at Revcom.us)

Revolution, Nothing Less Show Ep.55

"How soon can we sweep this system away?"
Bob Avakian on Tulsa
June 12 MARCH for Revolution

click here to watch the video

100 years since the white racist Tulsa Massacre, the truth must be confronted: This system cannot be reformed. It MUST be overthrown! This underscores the importance and urgency of the June 12th March in South Central LA (with support marches in NYC and Chicago) to show the world: “We are getting organized now for revolution, nothing less!” Everyone who dreams of a better world has a role to play.

On this week's episode of The RNL Show:

** Bob Avakian’s new statement, “THE RACIST TULSA MASSACRE—THE MOST PROFOUND LESSON,” on the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Massacre and Destruction of Black Wall street, as read by Carl Dix at Revolution Books in Harlem.

** “June 12: MARCH! Show the World: We Are Getting Organized Now For REVOLUTION, NOTHING LESS!” Andy Zee will take you to a press conference outside the LA Sheriff’s Office in South Central Los Angeles and bring alive the political fight that has been waged to reverse their denial of a permit to march to the Revcoms on June 12th.

*** The press conference featured Revolution Club National Spokesperson, Noche Diaz; a letter signed by a broad range of public figures; and statements from Rev. Nathaniel Martin (National Action Network, President, LA Chapter), Rev. Frank Wulf (Pastor, Echo Park United Methodist Church), and Emanual Padilla (activist). Also, voices from members of the Revolution Club who have been out organizing for June 12th in the neighborhoods.

*** Bob Avakian answers “What would you say to youth who have been cast out by this system?” From the 2014 Dialogue between Bob Avakian and Cornel West called “Revolution and Religion: The Fight for Emancipation and the Role of Religion.”

There’s nothing more difficult, audacious, needed, or inspiring than a real revolution in this, the most powerful empire in the world. What gives us the nerve to dare -- and how do we go about organizing people into this revolution?

*** Sunsara Taylor will bring you segments from an important meeting of the Revolution Tour and others in Los Angeles, featuring segments of a speech and Q&A by Andy Zee. Andy draws from A Declaration, A Call to Get Organized Now for A Real Revolution to give guidance on how we need to -- and can be -- winning masses of people now to step into this revolution.

** In the face of a barbaric and woman-hating abortion ban in Texas, high school valedictorian Paxton Smith threw out her prepared and approved speech and used her platform to deliver a courageous speech decrying this assault on women. We bring this to you and insist: ABORTION ON DEMAND AND WITHOUT APOLOGY!

** THE RACIST TULSA MASSACRE — PART 2: SOME IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AND A DEFINITE CONCLUSION,” by Bob Avakian as read by Andy Zee and Sunsara Taylor.
