On February 3rd, Jason Van Dyke, the killer cop who murdered Laquan McDonald, is set to be released from prison after serving only four years. The movement fought for years to get Van Dyke behind bars, and we will not let him walk free after murdering a teenager. We gather with a broad coalition of organizations to demand the U.S. Attorney and the Department of Justice indict Jason Van Dyke at the federal level. We will gather at Federal Plaza at 3:30 PM on February 3rd for a Day of Outrage and Direct Action to deliver these demands and let the powers that be know: we will not stand by while our loved ones and community members are kidnapped, tortured, brutalized, and murdered with impunity.
