This is an emergency! The Supreme Court is on track to gut women’s fundamental right to abortion by late spring. Already, the Court has allowed a near-total abortion ban in Texas. Emboldened by this, each day this Christian fascist assault gets more brazen:

* Idaho just incentivized rapists’ families to act as vigilantes against anyone who assists a woman impregnated by rape from getting an abortion
* Missouri is pushing to ban abortions even in cases of ectopic pregnancies (often lethal, never viable) and punish anyone who helps a Missouri women get an abortion in another state!
* Arizona passed a 15-week abortion ban
* Oklahoma passed a law that bans abortion at any time unless it meets an exception and relies on vigilante enforcement as the Texas SB-8 law does.

We must resist! We must fill the streets with our fury, growing in numbers, in cities and small towns, uniting all who can be united and coming back stronger in continuing nonviolent mass protest. We must change the whole political atmosphere and what women-haters – from the Supreme Court to the State Houses to the streets – feel they can get away with and STOP this assault!

Friday April 8: Take up the green bandana, the symbol of the increasingly victorious Green Wave in-the-streets fight for abortion rights across Latin America. Campuses, cultural events, social media and workplaces must be awash in GREEN (bandanas, banners, chalk, stickers, etc.). Everyone must show where they stand!

Saturday April 9: Take to the streets in mass protest! With serious determination and rebellious joy, we will wake tens and hundreds of thousands of others up to the emergency and inspire growing numbers to join us.
