Sat. July 21 Fundraising Barbeque for 11:00 AM until... Garfield Park - directly off the Green Line El Stop at Lake Street and Central Park    Menu: Ribs and Wings + Side Dishes  $10 per adult plate, families welcome. Child's plate: hotdog, chips and pop (for donation)   Delivery is available on the westside for orders of $20 or more. You can also order plates to be picked up at Revolution Books at 1:00 PM.    To place orders Call BA Everywhere-Chicago at 312-860-8167. Tell them if you will be coming to Garfield Park, or want delivery, or will be getting your plate at Revolution Books.  If you do not pre-order, call 312-860-8167 before coming to the barbeque to make sure plates are still available.     YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! Sell tickets for plates to friends, spread the word, or volunteer at Garfield Park. Call coordinator at 312-860-8167. Our goal is to raise at least $800 from selling plates, and also to raise additional funds through donations from people who see the importance of this effort to help the BAsics Bus Tour take its message to people like us in California, the Deep South, and now New York City.       Barbeque is part of the campaign to raise big bucks for BA Everywhere... USED BOOK SALE  REMINDER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  Save Revolution Books  July 21-22    Sat Noon-7 pm    Sun Noon-5pm This weekend is a crucial time to raise funds for BOTH the BAsics Bus Tour and for Revolution Books. The BAsics Bus Tour needs to raise $28,000 over the next 2 weeks and Westside residents are organizing the Garfield Park barbeque to help meet this need. Also, Revolution Books needs to raise hundreds of dollars at our used book sale in order to stay open. Everyone can contribute to these projects in some way.  Order plates for you and friends. (Remember-you can pick up your plates at Garfield Park OR Revolution Books.) Volunteer at RB Sat. or Sun. and help run the book sale and sell BBQ plates. The Westside residents organizing the BBQ benefit were inspired by Bob Avakian's BAsics quote 1:13 - "No more generations of our youth..." (above). RB is also dedicated and working to make that "No more generations..." declaration real.
