The truth is this: it can become too late. Each day sees new outrages against the rule of law, new threats against Trump's “enemies.” Immigrants snatched out of cars while their children wail in terror… trans people vilified… universities bludgeoned… judges and politicians threatened and arrested... law firms blackmailed. Meanwhile, Trump bullies the world. The TRUMP FASCIST REGIME MUST GO NOW Reaction, revenge and hypocrisy saturate society. The hard-won rights and respect that people shed blood for are ridiculed and reversed. MAGA leaders give Nazi salutes, while the regime slanders protestors against genocide in Gaza as “anti-Semitic.” The Big Lie is on steroids. Truth is whatever the fascist regime says it is. Cruelty, corruption and spectacle are glorified while human decency is mocked. This fascism has deadly momentum and focused intent. Waiting for the 2026 elections banks on illusion at a time when illusions are the deadliest narcotic of all. The situation demands of us “the fierce urgency of NOW.” Trump’s June 14 Military Parade is designed to send a message of intimidation and fear here and around the world. It Must Be Opposed! Already, Trump is moving to eradicate any mention of racial or gender discrimination within the military, declaring at West Point: “All of its ended… you do not have to think about it anymore.” Already, Trump purged the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Black and female members. Already, military bases are renamed to honor pro-slavery Confederates. Trump aims to Nazify the military. In Trump’s first term, he spoke of using “nukes” overseas and ordering the military to shoot protestors at home—but others in his administration opposed him. Now there is nobody within this administration to oppose Trump. It falls to us. In the early afternoon of June 14, RefuseFascism.org calls on you to join with us and others in a non-violent march to the White House. She now advocates for law students and lawyers to interview only with firms that commit to not collaborating with this regime's destruction of the rule of law.

In his recent two part interview, BA brings all this alive—giving concrete guidance on what needs to happen now, the basis to defeat this regime, and how human society can be organized on an emancipating foundation. As Trump targets Chicago for mass deportations, CPD outrageously arrest Revcoms for leading a crowd to chant “In the name of humanity, we refuse a fascist America!”

JOIN US: 8am Wednesday March 12 at 727 111th St. (outside the court Branch 35-2) for a rally and press conference to demand "Drop the Charges on Noche Diaz and Leo Pargo!"

On February 1, Noche Diaz and Leo Pargo were part of an emergency protest called by the Revcom Corps, which converged with another protest of mainly Latino youth against the ICE raids being launched by Trump. Together, hundreds of people marched through downtown Chicago to protest mass deportations and the whole Trump/MAGA fascist program.

Right in front of Trump Tower, Noche Diaz spoke from atop a bus stop and led the crowd to chant: “NO! In the name of humanity, we refuse a fascist America! Into the streets, day after day. Do not stop. Make this country ungovernable!”

A swarm of Chicago police, including a Deputy Chief, violently pushed into the crowd, endangering many protesters, and illegitimately arrested Noche and Leo.

The two have since been released and face Class A misdemeanor charges, the most severe type in Illinois law. Noche is charged with Reckless Conduct and Leo is charged with Obstructing an officer. Both charges carry up to 364 days in jail and a $2,500 fine. As shown in the video, these charges are ridiculous and illegitimate. This is a straight up violation of basic First Amendment rights.

Since Trump’s inauguration, people have been hit with a fascist whirlwind of government purges, attacks on immigrants and trans people, anti-scientific lunacy, and destruction of rule of law itself. There are beginnings of important resistance, but this is nowhere near enough! Noche and Leo not only had a legal right to do what they did, THEY WERE RIGHT! They are doing what everyone needs to be doing right now.

Inspired by the message from the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian that “This is not a time for demoralization and despair—it is a time for righteous anger and revolutionary determination,” they told the truth, acted with courage, and inspired others to do the same.

Everyone who values the right to free speech, and doesn’t want to see people brutally arrested for exercising that right, should demand: DROP THE CHARGES!

Everyone who is outraged about the terror being inflicted on immigrants, and the fact this supposed “sanctuary city” is prosecuting protesters who stand up for immigrants, should demand: DROP THE CHARGES!
