It is rapidly moving to cement into place a fascist America. This fascism must be defeated. The regime must be driven from power through nonviolent but relentless protest of millions BEFORE IT BECOMES TOO LATE. Right now, we must act. On Saturday June 14, Trump’s birthday, he has called a military parade in Washington, D.C. This is a major move to create an army loyal not to the rule of law, but to Trump personally – with all the racism, misogyny and MAGA “America First” hate this involves. On this day, in Washington, D.C. and in protests across the country, our voices must ring out: In the NAME of HUMANITY, WE REFUSE to ACCEPT a FASCIST AMERICA! Yes, it really is this urgent. The truth is this: it can become too late. In Trump’s first term, he spoke of using “nukes” overseas and ordering the military to shoot protestors at home—but others in his administration opposed him. Now there is nobody within this administration to oppose Trump. It falls to us. In the early afternoon of June 14, RefuseFascism.org calls on you to join with us and others in a non-violent march to the White House. A judge indicted, a mayor arrested, three members of Congress threatened with criminal charges. Why? All sought to exercise their responsibilities to ensure due process of law for everyone and accountability for ICE. This is fascism.

 

What are our responsibilities? To come together, with courage and conviction, around one unifying demand: the fascist Trump regime must go NOW!

Just one of the great lineup of speakers at our rally will be Rachel Cohen speaking about the danger of denying due process to all. Rachel is the former associate at Skadden Arps who resigned when the firm capitulated to Trump's bullying. You may have seen her interviewed on PBS Newshour, CNN, or MSNBC. She now advocates for law students and lawyers to interview only with firms that commit to not collaborating with this regime's destruction of the rule of law.

We all feel it – the atrocities are relentless. Another right snatched away. Someone else disappeared. Due process shredded. Law firms targeted. Universities threatened. Books banned.
