Friday, April 1st, thousands of people will rally throughout the city and gather at 4pm at Thompson center downtown for a march. The day of action was called by the Chicago teacher's union to protest the continuing attacks on teachers, the schools etc. There has not been a budget in IL for over 10 months. Teachers and students will be joined by many others who are feeling the brunt of these draconian cuts ... IL state colleges, social service agencies, recipients of MAP grants etc.
On April 1st, we are going into the midst of this outpouring to take out Bob Avakian and the new synthesis of Communism and we invite you to join us in this undertaking. read more
