This Thanksgiving weekend be part of a campaign to raise $15,000 to send 1,500 copies of BAsics, from the talks and writings of Bob Avakian, to prisoners.  On Black Friday, the biggest consumer fest of the year, volunteers with the Prisoners Revolutionary Literature Fund  and others who are joining the campaign to Raise Big Money to Get BA's Vision and Works into Every Corner of Society  (see www.revcom.us) plan to be downtown and possibly other shopping areas.

There will be some creative street theater and we plan to talk with lots of people and  raise lots of money!  In the words of one prisoner, "I want to urge everybody out there to get their hands on this book and to help get it into the hands of others, not just prisoners, but into the hands of youth in danger of becoming prisoners themselves."

Join us for Black Friday, come for an hour or two, to act, read prisoner quotes, to encourage people to join in and to donate. There will also be a crew going out on Saturday among holiday shoppers to fundraise for BAsics to prisoners. If you can participate either or both days or help in advance, email PRLF at contact@PRLF.org

If you can't join us, make a donation of $10, $100, $250 or whatever you can to BAsics for prisoners and urge your friends to do the same!  Take advantage of holiday get-togethers to tell your family and friends about PRLF and encourage them to donate towards the BAsics for Prisoners. To learn more about PRLF or to donate online, go to the PRLF website www.prlf.org, and donations can also be sent to PRLF, 1321 N. Milwaukee, #407, Chicago, IL. 60622. PRLF is a project of the International Humanities Center, a nonprofit public charity exempt from federal income tax under section 501c3 of the IRS code.
