Readers of last Friday's Chicago Tribune special section covering this upcoming weekend's 2013 Printers Row Lit Fest saw a large, colorful photo of the Revolution Books booth from last year's Lit Fest.
Buy Books, Make a Donation, Volunteer or just drop by and check out RB's table at Printers Row Lit Fest
This year's Lit Fest comes at a turning point. RB requires a major infusion of energy, funds, and commitment to fight not only to stay open but so it can increasingly give nourishment to the kind of movement of rebellious thinking and rebellious action so needed in the world today. This can't happen without out your support.
RB is an all volunteer bookstore and it needs volunteers this weekend. You can help handle sales and replenish the books. You can distribute BAsics pluggers, "We are all Trayvon" stickers, RB promotional material to Lit Fest goers. You can attend author events and report on the experience and give RB packets to the speakers.
You can help get books and materials ready on Thursday or Friday for the Lit Fest airlift Saturday morning. You can bring a bag of quality used books to the Lit Fest to donate and drop the booth #231-233 to get reacquainted.
Booth #231-233 (June 8-9, Dearborn St. south of Harrison, in the south Loop). The huge Printers Row Lit Fest is an opportunity to impact many thousands of people while talking with hundreds of new people and meeting dozens of writers and artists for the first time. There are many interesting things to do.
PR Lit Fest runs from 10 am to 6 pm both Saturday and Sunday. See you there.
